Christmas Time Quote for the Day!

Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the Holiday Season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall. We traditonally do this in my family by driving around the parking lot until we see a shopper emerge from the mall, then we follow her, in a very much the same spirit as the Three Wise Men, who 2,000 years ago followed a star, week after week, until it led them to a parking space. ;)

Rylee.....

Rylee is our newest member to the household. Some of you may not know but Rikee was diagnosed with Diabetes back in March. She is doing really well and hopefully be with us for a long, long time. We came to the decision to that 'what if' something were to happen to Rikee and decided to start looking for a puppy. Not to replace Rikee but to help with Reeba if she were to feel lonesome and grieve. I had seen that in the Labs that I owned and do not want to see it happed again. After looking at all the ads, I finally found a breeder in Appleton, MN. One who docks tails, dews and crop the ears. Most breeders are finding it hard to find vets that will do the ears. I do have to say that they wouldn't be MinPins if those ears weren't cropped. So Thank You Shelly!
Rylee has been a lot of fun and of course with puppies..work! And with the weather the way it is there is not a doggie coat or sweater to fit him. So I altered some socks of mine. He looks SO cute!
The picture to the right of the page is a picture of Rylee. Also, he will be added to the MinPin site I have started for the dogs. That is to the right of the page as well.
