Reports say that Brainerd received around 11-12 inches. Our location is Northwest of Brainerd and we probably have seen just as much if not a little more. And Guess What?!! We have more coming Wednesday and/or Thursday. Oh, Goody... :(

Well, we finally had a decent weekend to venture outside the house. When it was SO cold, the dogs hated to be outside, I hated to be outside and finally the temps are starting to moderate some. And it is only going to get better (I hope!). So outside we go!

We decided to spend some adult time away from the farm for a few hours. Checked out the new movie release "Ghost Rider" with Nicholas Cage, Eva Mendes, Sam Elliot and others. It was a good movie with great graphics. We feel that there will be another "Ghost Rider" to follow due to the interesting ending. However, I would suggest that with today's prices of going to the theater, I would wait until it is out on DVD. We gave it thumbs up, though!

We went out to eat afterwards to a place called Prairie Bay which is located in Baxter. Good food but VERY EXPENSIVE. You know those dishes you see on the cooking channels with the Chefs that go to Culinary School......that is the dish to expect at this restaurant. If you ever go bring LOTS of money.

We are hooked!

Well, we broke down and finally purchased the latest Game System craze....Wii, Nintendo. We have to admitt that it was worth the purchase because it is a blast. Once we hooked it up we started playing the Bowling part of the game disc and what a blast! We did take an hour break to watch 'Ghost Whisperer' and then back at the Bowling. Then we decided to check out the Baseball and Tennis. What a work out. I think we finally shut down around 10:30 p.m. Way past our bedtimes for us...LOL!

The next morning......we are stiff in some areas! But it was fun!

What a shame! Despite how she became so famous it is such a tragic thing to have happened. She may have done some weird things in her past and losing a son just 5 months ago right after giving birth.... This is so unfair. Now there is a new baby without the love of her mother :( Such a sad thing.

Oh Yeah! Groundhog's Day!

Whoop-dee-doo! So did he see it or didn't he. Can't figure what the big deal is about Groundhog's Day! 1) Isn't the first day of Spring in about 6 weeks anyway? 2) Winters here stay as long as they want to.
