Okay.... This is so not funny! Here it is September 14th and yes we are cold today. In fact the temperature gauge on the truck read 36 degrees at 5:30 AM. Barry and I left the cabin heading to Brainerd and when we stepped out and noticed it raining some. No big deal, Right?? Well, we get out of the woods and OH MY GOD! It was snowing. No Kidding!! SNOW!
As of last nights forecast we didn't hear anything about the chance of snow showers! Nice move weatherman! The local radio station up here said it was going to clear over night here in the lakes area. It didn't.
Once again the weather here in Minnesota is unpredictable. So why live here I ask? I'll never know the answer.

February Quote

Quote for Today
To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with Spring.

Look back on our struggle for freedom, trace our present day's strength to it's source; And you'll find that man's pathway to glory is strewn with the bones of a horse.

Quote of the Day
Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
