Okay here I sit in front of the computer today, after 3 pm and I have yet to get dressed. It has been one of those days. I have done NOTHING today. Not really awake either. I don't know....I guess something is going on with me for the last couple of weeks. Maybe it is because it is December, Christmas time, Winter, etc. We haven't the money this month to have a decent Xmas. But then again my plan is that no body is getting anything from us until after Xmas. I just didn't want to deal with the people and the malls this year...ish! We decided this year we were only going to buy for kids. Our own and a few others. Our horses had to eat and bills had to be paid. Oh well we will catch up....like I say this every month!
Enough with the whining though it is hard this time of year not to whine some. It really hasn't been a real good year for us. Anyway, we started this holiday time with a get together at Brian and Dana's. Dana's parents and sister with her companion came up. We had a HUGE meal which was very good. Lots of chit chat and gifts to open. We weren't prepared to receive anything but we did. It was nice. Then Brian and Dana left today for the cities to spend the holidays with Brian's other family.
Earlier in the week the weather "people" said "Oh good days to travel" Yeah, sure! Yesterday up where we were we had sunshine and blue skies when 100 miles south of us major winter hassle. Then TODAY..we have snow, blowing snow and wind. Our snow amounts are not suppose to amount to anything. But they have said THAT before. They said that we were going to see the single digits for highs and then of course see a wind chill. We are warmer than they said and the windchill? Feels pretty warm out there even with the wind.

February Quote
To often we under estimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around

Quote for Today
To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with Spring.

Quote of the Day...Nov 25th "06
Look back on our struggle for freedom, trace our present day's strength to it's source; And you'll find that man's pathway to glory is strewn with the bones of a horse.

Quote of the Day
Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
