The weekend had its ups and downs. Today Barry and I loaded the horses in the trailer and took them for a ride. Reason being is because we have been working with one of the horses because she didn't like loading. When we came back we went for a 3 hour ride. Did some ditch riding to keep up on the desensitizing with road/traffic noise. Went rather well today. Kind of kept our minds off the down side of the weekend.
Barry and I took in a stray because SOMEONE we knew did not want her. We gave her a real good home and loved her as our own. My brother Tom picked a stray to save him from a jerk and brought him home. We named him Digger for the fact he sure did like to dig! Digger and Rheeya shared a kennel but the problem is that when you let those two out they would run off. Usually they would come back. One winter day they were let out and off they went. Thought they were gone for good until Barry went, 20 hours later and found them miles from home on a road. Saturday Barry thought that if they were let out they would run some and then even if they ran off they will come back. Not this time. They ran off and we haven't seen them since. Now we are going on about 30 hours and we have not seen them. Oh we went out yesterday and searched the best we could but turned up nothing. They could be just about anywhere in our area. Our worry is that we hope they will find stuff to eat and avoid getting hit by vehicles. One thing we will do is keep our eye out for them in the paper. Maybe someone would be kind enough to throw an ad or take them to HART.
We will miss you Rheeya....hope you come home soon! =(

February Quote
To often we under estimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around

Quote for Today
To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with Spring.

Quote of the Day...Nov 25th "06
Look back on our struggle for freedom, trace our present day's strength to it's source; And you'll find that man's pathway to glory is strewn with the bones of a horse.

Quote of the Day
Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
