Before we head off to an Easter Dinner I had better post something....LIKE, HAPPY EASTER!! We have had a house full since Thursday. Lots of fun, too. Though it was too cold to try and get in any riding on horse or 4-wheelers. Next visit.
Barry and I had visitors from my old neighborhood. I use to Nanny for a family in Champlin and Julie, Nathan and Stephanie (Dolly) drove up on Thursday and camped out in our living room. We did a lot of talking, laughing and playing. We played the Wii Nintendo and tried just about every game. Nathan brought up some remotes and games which was compatible with the Wii System. He played for hours. We ate and ate....real well, too!
Our outside pump in the barn went out so all of us had to water the horses by hand. Not fun but it went well. Brought in jugs and buckets to fill and haul out to the tanks. Took about 3 trips to at least give them water to drink. Barry had to spend the weekend fixing it. He wasn't a happy camper only because it seems when he is off on the weekends he is always fixing something here. Of course here it is a holiday weekend and having company....well, we wasn't too happy.
Anyway, Julie brought up here jewelry making craft stuff and she made some really cool earrings and a necklace for us. Dolly made herself a couple pendants and I made a key chain. I have sent away for the catalogue so I can try and do the making. Now I have to work on reopening my holes in my ears so I can where earrings again.
Well, I suppose I had better stop for now and resume getting ready to head to the cabin. dinner is waiting.
HAPPY EASTER
