I was going to say that the shock of our recent snowfall has subsided but IT HASN'T. Barry and I had to see some humor of it this morning.
It starts out, like EVERY morning....I hear a little whining going on with the puppy. He wants OUT! This usually happens between 6:30-7 AM. I get up to let all 4 dogs out and when we come in the 3 Min Pins head off to our bed. They LOVE sleeping under the covers. This gave me the opportunity to lay down for a little while before chow time starts for them.
I told Barry this morning the bad news that the snow was still on the ground. He says, "Well, you didn't think it was going to just melt overnight, did you?"
I said, "Well, it fell on us overnight, why wouldn't it melt overnight?"
I guess wishful thinking on our part!

February Quote
To often we under estimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around

Quote for Today
To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with Spring.

Quote of the Day...Nov 25th "06
Look back on our struggle for freedom, trace our present day's strength to it's source; And you'll find that man's pathway to glory is strewn with the bones of a horse.

Quote of the Day
Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
